NCL® Reopening Certification Program

As businesses begin to reopen, great attention is being given to the measures required to keep employees and customers safe. With the increased emphasis on cleaning and disinfection, it is more important than ever to train individuals on the proper use and application of disinfectants. With that in mind NCL® offers a Reopening Disinfection Specialist training program for individuals responsible for the important tasks of cleaning and disinfection.

Training and knowledge about cleaning and disinfecting is critical to successfully disinfecting a surface. Individuals can put forth the effort to learn and extend their knowledge of cleaning and disinfection requirements by watching videos, reading online, or reviewing printable documents. And after completing the training the individual can take a test to confirm understanding of the materials presented. A Reopening Disinfection Specialist certificate is then issued to the individual.

The NCL® Reopening Guidance Plan outlines 4 easy steps to get you started.
   • Step 1: Re-Opening Phases Program
   • Step 2: Re-Opening Product Selection.
   • Step 3: Proper Disinfection Procedures
   • Step 4: Proper Hand Washing Procedures

Update: March 20, 2020: EPA publishes List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 which causes the disease COVID-19.

The easiest way to find a product on EPA List N: is to enter the first two sets of its EPA registration number into the search bar.
For example, if EPA Reg. No. 12345-12 is on List N, you can buy EPA Reg. No. 12345-12-2567 and know you’re getting an equivalent product. You can find this number by looking for the EPA Reg. No. on the product label.
